The "3d Printed Satellites for Territorial & Water Governance Program" is a high-tech initiative from Ankawa International, Global Action Tank for Social Transformation based in Peru (Cusco), aiming to develop 3d printed satellites with sophisticated software capabilities in order to provide up-to-date information to developing countries on territorial and maritime governance. Deforestation, pollution, borders filtration, sanitary conditions on highly-populated areas, internet connection in rural areas, smart cities, etc., are important information required to adopt policies in the framework of climate change. This kind of information is easily conveyed by technologies such as satellites, however, because of the price tag, this technology is only available to developed countries. This project will provide this technology to developing countries and local governments with an affordable price tag. In order to implement this project, the Ankawa International Organization, requires partners for funding and expertise sharing.
