India’s resource deal

EU’s Resource Efficiency Initiative India (EU-REI) aims to support India in the implementation of the United Nations global sustainable consumption and production (SCP) agenda to foster the efficient and sustainable use of natural resources by way of adapting international standards and best practices in business on resource efficiency. EU-REI provides evidence-based advice to policy makers from public and private sector to instigate plans of action for the adoption of resource-efficient practices and facilitate international policy dialogue on global best practices. The initiative enhances India’s efforts to manage global and local resources more efficiently and supports India’s endeavour in moving towards a circular economy.
