Spheres of dialogue

The Spheres of Dialogue project aims to foster professional exchanges and capacity building of humanitarian negotiators on the frontlines. This unique and innovative project has three dimensions: 1) Building active relationships between humanitarian field practitioners, policymakers and experts in a region through synchronous online and multisite discussions and facilitating the comparison of approaches in a decentralized yet structured manner. 2) Informing professional deliberations with the latest science in building capacity on cross-cultural deliberations as well as negotiations in complex socio-political environments in Advanced Certificate courses in collaboration with INALCO and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. 3) Opening new spaces of experimentation for policy, exchanges and transformation across the academic-practice spectrum using the latest ICT technology.
