In conflict and post-conflict zones, women are particularly affected by the crisis and are victims of flagrant human rights violations. AHJ has run field interviews conducted directly with women and journalists from conflict zones or forced into exile in France, and has been able to determine their needs so as to promote #Journalism4HumanRights. The AHJ's initiative “Women's Voices Without Borders” (WVWB, or VFSF in French) develops peace and stabilization of war zones through education, protection and networking actions for women journalists and activists. AHJ is developing the VFSF project with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of France and Germany, the UN and organizations such as CFI, Reporters Sans Frontières, Amnesty International France and the RAJA and Fonds pour les Femmes en Méditerranée foundations.

Aide Humanitaire et Journalisme is an international NGO created in 2017, committed to supporting women and journalists in conflict, post-conflict zones and those taking refuge in France. AHJ offers professional training in journalism, art and culture to victims of war or discrimination, enabling them to access higher education and employment. Through education, protection, and networking, AHJ participates in beneficiaries’ emancipation to defend their rights and make their voices heard.
