Hundreds of innovative projects have responded to the Paris Peace Forum’s 2025 Call for Solutions, reflecting strong global momentum to tackle today’s interconnected challenges. The Call closed on 1 June with 328 proposals submitted from across more than 80 countries, spanning all regions and all six thematic priorities of this year’s edition.
The highest number of proposals came from Colombia (41), France (22), and the United States (20).
In terms of regional implementation, most proposals focus on Africa (116), followed by Latin America (62) and South Asia (23). Another 64 projects are designed to operate across multiple regions — a testament to the growing need for cross-border cooperation.

This year’s Call brought together proposals from across sectors — civil society, academia, public institutions, and private actors. Whether community-driven or globally scaled, the diversity of submissions reflects a shared ambition to deliver concrete, collective solutions to today’s global challenges.
The review process is now underway. Proposals are currently being assessed by a Selection Committee. The selected projects will be announced ahead of the 8th edition of the Forum this October in Paris.
