The Paris Peace Forum is a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2018 to address global challenges, notably through a large-scale annual event. Throughout the year, the Forum works to strengthen the governance of global commons such as climate, outer space, and the oceans, and to improve the international management of global issues, particularly those related to digital technologies and disruptive innovations. Its annual event, held each November, gathers heads of state, government officials, international organizations, and leaders from civil society and the private sector around policy initiatives and concrete projects, with a strong focus on Global South participation.

The Operations team, in charge of delivering the event, is currently seeking two interns (M/F) to serve as Events Assistants. He/She will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

In preparation for the 8th edition of the Paris Peace Forum, taking place on 29–30 October 2025, you will assist, depending on your profile and experience, the Operations team members in the overall coordination of the event:

  • Monitoring of production and logistics aspects (layout, security, catering, etc.);
  • Follow-up on operational programming (schedule, technical requirements of the spaces, interpretation);
  • Monitoring of scenography and signage aspects;
  • Follow-up on accreditation processes (database and registration management);
  • Drafting of reports and meeting minutes, preparation of presentation and operations evaluation documents.

 

PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac +3 to +5);
  • Previous experience in organizing international events is a plus;
  • Professional proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken (C2 level or equivalent required);
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and digital tools.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES

 

  • Strong understanding of the challenges and constraints of event organization, with a keen interest in large international events;
  • Interest in digital tools applied to event management;
  • Excellent writing skills in both French and English;
  • Curiosity, creativity, precision, and attention to detail;
  • High adaptability and responsiveness, with a strong eye for detail.

 

CONDITIONS

 

  • Full-time internship, internship agreement required, for a duration of 3 months starting mid-August 2025. Meal vouchers and 50% reimbursement of public transportation costs provided.
